Frequently
Asked Questions:
How long have you been
in business?
I started in 2001 creating virtual tours and custom built websites for
Realtors. In 2004 I provided technical support for the members of the
Contra Costa Association of Realtors. In 2005 I worked for LandAmerica
Title Company as a Marketing and Technical Support Specialist. In 2006,
I returned to consulting with small businesses and home users.
What areas do you service?
Contra Costa County, Alameda County and San Francisco County.
If you are outside of that area please contact
me to see if we can make arrangements. I also have the ability to work remotely on your computer as long as you have an active internet connection.
What training or certifications
do you have?
Most of my training comes from over 15 years of hands-on experience with
computers. I am a certified Winforms and Relay Trainer, and I continually
research new technology and study support documentation to stay ahead
of the curve.
What guarantee do you offer?
I guarantee my services for a period of 90 days after completion. This
is in addition to the manufactures' warranty that is provided for purchased
parts. For virus and spyware problems, I cannot guarantee against reinfection.
Can you help me dispose
of my old electronics?
Short answer, Yes! When I successfully repair your computer or other gadget it prevents another
item from ending up in a landfill. However, should it be necessary to
dispose of something, or it's just time to replace it, I have two recommendations:
In some cases, I will refurbish your obsolete computer and provide you
the opportunity to donate it to a worthy cause, helping others who cannot
afford a computer. The second option is to recycle your machine. When I recycle electronics products they will not be shipped to a developing country or disposed of in a manner that is unhealthy for the planet or the people who recycle it.
Do you offer any other specialized services?
I strive to be your primary resource for all your technology-related needs. If you are struggling with something that has an on and off switch send me an email. If I am unable to help, I will point you in the right direction!
